LICENSE AGREEMENT

You should carefully read the terms and conditions of this agreement before 
installing the DTE HOMEwise program.  By pressing the button below, you are 
agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of the agreement.  If you do 
not agree with them, you should quit this installation and remove the program.

Down To Earth Software Inc. agrees to grant, and the customer agrees to 
accept, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the program delivered 
with this agreement under the terms and conditions set forth below.

Prior to registering (and thus purchasing) the software, you are granted full 
permission to copy and distribute the original setup files, provided they are 
not modified in any way, and provided that no profit is made in selling the 
reproductions.

Once registered (and thus purchased), the software becomes subject to the 
following restrictions:  You may use this Software on any compatible computer, 
provided you use the Software on only one computer at a time.  Should you wish 
to use the program  on more than one computer at a time you will need to 
purchase a license for each concurrent user.  The Software may not be 
transferred to another party under any circumstances.  You may not copy, 
reproduce, transmit, transcribe, or translate the software into any other 
language or format without the express written approval of Down To Earth 
Software Inc.  Any such unauthorized activity may result in criminal or civil 
liability.

Copyright: This Software is a proprietary product of Down To Earth Software 
Inc. and are protected by copyright laws and international treaty.  You must 
keep the Software in strict confidence and treat it in a similar manner to any 
other copyrighted material.

Limited Warranty:  This program is produced as is without warranty of any 
kind, either expressed or implied including but not limited to the implied 
warranties of merchantibility and fitness for a particular purpose.  The 
entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program is with you.  
Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so 
the above exclusion may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific 
legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state 
and province to province.

General:  You may not sublicense, assign or transfer the license or the 
program except as expressly provided in this agreement.  Any attempt otherwise 
to sublicense, assign, or transfer any of the rights, duties, or obligations 
hereunder is void.

Notice:  Down To Earth Software Inc. reserves the right to make changes or 
improvements to the DTE HOMEwise computer program at any time and without notice.

By continuing this installation you acknowledge that you have read this 
license agreement, understand it and agree to be bound by its terms and 
conditions.  You further agree that it is the complete and exclusive statement 
of the license agreement between us that supersedes any proposal or prior 
agreement, oral or written, and any other communication between us relating to 
the subject matter of this license agreement.
